Usain Bolt was slow for once - attempting to drive one of those small remote controlled Mini Coopers, used to bring back javelins and hammers, before disappearing into the bowels of the Olympic stadium for good after becoming a legend at the London Games, dpa reported.
But the driving effort went all but unnoticed for once, as a majority of the spectators had already filed out - after screaming in delight a final time when the Jamaican posed atop the victory podium with distance double winner Mo Farah on Saturday.
The two were the faces of nine thrilling days of Olympic athletics.
