The strikes of Russian air force on the terrorists in Syria should not only continue, but also enhanced, the country's President Vladimir Putin said, RIA Novosti reported.
He made the remarks during the meeting on the results of the investigation into Russian plane crash in Sinai, Egypt.
Putin instructed the Defense Ministry and General Staff of Armed Forces to put forward relevant proposals.
Earlier on Oct. 31, Airbus 321 of Russian airline Kogalymavia, which was flying from Egypt's Sharm El Sheikh to Saint Petersburg, crashed in Sinai.
The disaster, which is the largest in the Russian and Soviet aviation history, killed 217 passengers and seven crew members.
