The Turkish Botas Petroleum Pipeline Corporation intends to implement 15 energy projects till late 2021, the Turkish Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources told Trend.
“Some 6.1 billion Turkish liras ($699.1 million) will be allocated for their implementation,” the ministry said.
"Some 2.2 billion Turkish liras ($252.1 million) out of 6.1 billion Turkish liras ($699.1 million) allocated in Turkey for the implementation of energy projects this year, will account for foreign loans," the ministry said.
The ministry said that Botas allocated 14.7 billion Turkish liras ($1.7 billion) for the implementation of energy projects in 2020, of which 9.6 billion Turkish liras ($1.1 billion) accounted for foreign loans.
Turkey's expenditures on the implementation of energy projects as of 2021 will amount to 16.8 billion Turkish liras ($1.9 billion), while last year this figure was 44.5 billion Turkish liras ($5.1 billion).
Some 125 energy projects will be implemented in Turkey by the end of this year. The foreign loans in the amount of 3.1 billion Turkish liras ($358.9 million) will be issued for the implementation of energy projects.
Some 16.6 billion Turkish liras ($1.9 billion) out of 44.5 billion Turkish liras ($5.1 billion) allocated in Turkey for the implementation of energy projects in 2020 accounted for the foreign loans.
