The printers will be assembled in Azerbaijan under the Made in Azerbaijan brand, Executive Director of Azerbaijan’s CRM Group LLC Ramin Suleymanov told Trend.
Suleymanov added that the printer assembly is part of the company's priority plans for the current year.
Currently, the company produces ink cartridges for printing devices under Azerbaijan’s AzToner brand, which are already supplied for a number of state agencies.
"The company from which we took a patent for the cartridge production, also produces printers,” he said. “We intend to assemble them in Azerbaijan and we already have test samples.”
“The assembly of printer products may be launched by the end of the year, but everything will depend on those benefits that the country will give to the industrial parks,” he said. “The activity of foreign investors who are interested in establishing joint business in the country depends on those benefits."
Suleymanov added that the management of a number of European companies (the names have not been disclosed yet) will arrive in Azerbaijan soon and the issues of joint cooperation will be discussed within the visit.
"Presently, these companies intend to transfer part of their production from China to Europe and we are trying to attract them to Azerbaijan," Suleymanov said.
