BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 24. The UN will expand cooperation with Azerbaijan, said Vladanka Andreeva, the UN Resident Coordinator in Azerbaijan, Trend reports.
She made the remark during the third SDG dialogue on the topic "The results of the Global Summit on the SDGs 2023 and the role of Supreme Financial Control Bodies in the implementation of the SDGs”.
Andreeva noted that stable, sufficient financial opportunities are needed to keep up with development.
"One of the sources of financing is the state budget. The UN family will constantly work with partners in Azerbaijan, and we will expand our cooperation within the framework of this summit. Over the next few weeks, we will take advantage of opportunities that will push us forward and hold useful discussions," Andreeva said.
The third Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) dialogue is being held in Baku on the topic "The results of the Global Summit on the SDGs 2023 and the role of the Supreme Financial Control Bodies in the implementation of the SDGs".
The dialogue is co-chaired by the Chairman of the National Coordinating Council for Sustainable Development, the Chamber of Accounts of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and the UN Resident Coordinator in Azerbaijan.
