Within the framework of the mechanism for renting housing with the right of subsequent redemption from the beginning of the year to December 29, the Mortgage and Credit Guarantee Fund of Azerbaijan has issued and transferred 867,000 apartments to citizens, which is more than two times more than last year, Press secretary of the Fund Yegana Ramazanova told Trend.
According to Ramazanova, over the entire time, the fund has transferred 1,280 apartments.
"The average age of people using the rental mechanism accounts for 35, with more than 70 percent of them young people and young families. At the same time, in order to further simplify and increase the availability of the use of rental mechanisms during 2021, income assessment processes were simplified, as well as other conditions were relaxed. In addition, taxpayers with a fixed income are also given the opportunity to use rental housing with the option to purchase," Ramazanova said.
It is noted that at present the Fund offers one, two, three and four-room apartments in seven different districts of Baku, Sumgayit and Absheron.
All apartments are renovated to a high standard using new and modern building materials, equipped with a combi heating system (including the device itself), water, gas, electricity meters, and the property rights are registered.
