BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 7. Azerbaijan recorded a considerable increase in the number of visitors arriving from Georgia in June 2022, Trend reports via the State Tourism Agency of Azerbaijan.
The number of visitors from Georgia to Azerbaijan amounted to 6,900 people, which is 41.3 percent more than in the same month last year (4,882 people).
According to the agency, Georgia ranked 5th in the top 15 countries in terms of the number of visitors to Azerbaijan in June 2022.
Azerbaijan was visited by 170,600 foreigners during this period, which is 153.9 percent more than in June last year.
The number of visitors to Azerbaijan from Georgia amounted to 6,300 people in May 2022, an increase of 29.2 percent compared to the same period last year (4,874 people).
