Dutch Ante B.V. company to establish milk processing plant in Uzbekistan

Dutch Ante B.V. company plans to establish a milk processing plant in Uzbekistan's Samarkand region, Trend reports citing Dunyo News Agency.

This became known during a video conference between Uzbek Ambassador to the Netherlands Dilyor Hakimov and CEO of Ante B.V. Herco Hekking.

"Herco Hekking announced the company's plans to implement a joint project on creation of an exemplary plant for milk processing in Bulungur district of Samarkand region on the basis of a farm. The project will be implemented with grant funds from the Netherlands Enterprise Agency and the company's investments," the message said.

There are also plans to create Ante-Uzbekistan joint venture, which will deal with the supply of processing equipment from the Netherlands, as well as training and maintenance of Uzbek specialists, said the report.

Following the meeting, an agreement was reached on organizing a solemn opening ceremony of the plant in Bulungur district with involvement of diplomatic missions of Uzbekistan and Netherlands.

Ante B.V has 25 years of experience in manufacturing equipment and machinery for dairy industry, being one of the European leaders in this sector. The company currently owns a plant for processing goat, sheep and cow's milk with a capacity of six million liters per year.
