Iran's Gachsaran Oil and Gas Production Company fulfilled its production plan 100 percent during the first six months of the current Iranian year (March 20-September 21, 2020), Executive Director of the company Houshang Seydali said, Trend reports citing the company’s official website.
According to the director, in this regard, various operations were carried out in the fields and pipelines.
"In addition, the company extracted about 31,800 barrels of crude oil over six months by using MOT (Mobile Oil Treater) and MOS (Mobile Oil Separator) equipment," he added.
Seydali noted that the extraction of crude oil by using this equipment is one of the major steps in sustainable extraction.
Iran's Gachsaran Oil and Gas Company is subordinated to the National Iranian South Oil Company (NISOC). The company operates in the area of oil production, refining, transportation, production of natural gas and gas condensate. The company produces more than 600,000 barrels of oil and more than 8 million cubic meters of gas per day. The Gachsaran oil field, which is owned by the company, is Iran's second largest oil field.
