BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 30. Georgia remains committed to its top natural gas supplier - Azerbaijan, the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia Levan Davitashvili said, Trend reports via Georgian media.

According to the minister, Georgia does not expect the aggravation of conditions in the natural gas supply or in price instability.

“We do not expect our conditions to worsen today and expect to maintain cooperation with our partners in the long term. Because Georgia respects its main supplier country, Azerbaijan, and remains committed to longer-term, stable contracts,” Davitashvili said.

The minister noted that Georgia’s cooperation with Azerbaijan is not one-time based, it is a long-term and strategic cooperation.

“We think that with proper, insightful and good communication with friendly countries, we will be able to secure Azerbaijan’s natural gas supplies in Georgia,” Davitashvili said.
