The website of the Central Bank's Precious Metals Fund is being developed in Turkmenistan, Trend reports with reference to Turkmenistan’s State News Agency.

This was said during a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan.

Various services will be offered on the site, including the execution of orders for the purchase of manufactured products in electronic format and payment via national bank cards.

The launch of the new website is designed to facilitate the implementation of works identified in the "Programme of social and economic development of Turkmenistan in 2019 – 2025" and "Concept of Development of Digital Economy in Turkmenistan in 2019 – 2025 ", as well as the range of cashless payments.

Turkmenistan is working on the introduction of information and communication technologies (ICT) in all sectors of the national economy.

The acceleration of work in this direction will be facilitated by the creation of a geo-information center, which will analyze and store information about all objects of Turkmenistan's urban infrastructure.

The country also pays special attention to training specialists in the field of ICT.

The introduction of ICT into Turkmenistan's economy will facilitate its diversification.

The concept of the development of the digital economy in Turkmenistan until 2025 is also aimed at economic diversification.

The ongoing reforms allow increasing mutually beneficial cooperation with foreign partners and international organizations.

During the first six months of 2020, Turkmenistan has participated in a number of meetings held online by international organizations.

The country is also implementing digitalization in different sectors of the economy and, in particular, in the financial, agro-industrial, and other areas.
