Population census of all Kyrgyz citizens, foreigners and people without citizenship in Kyrgyzstan will be held in the Republic of Kyrgyzstan from Mar. 24 to Apr. 2, the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry told Trend on Feb. 27.
Upon the order of the Kyrgyz government on preparation and conducting population census and housing fund in the Republic of Kyrgyzstan in 2009 No 396 dated May 31, 2006 to register Kyrgyz citizens living abroad, the Ministry approved the working group of the Foreign Ministry's central office to hold population census of Kyrgyz citizens registered in consul department of Kyrgyz foreign agencies, working in diplomatic, trade, international organizations and other Kyrgyz representations abroad, as well as members of families living with them.
Responsible employees on realizing the above-mentioned order were determined in Kyrgyz foreign agencies.
Census documentation was received from the National Statistics Committee as part of this decree realization. The documents will be sent to Kyrgyz foreign agencies in future.
The National Statistics Committee also plans to hold training workshop on population census for the Foreign Ministry's employees in mid March.
The Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry requested Kyrgyz citizens leaving for abroad to pass permanent or temporary consul registration within indicated terms in appropriate Kyrgyz foreign agencies.
