BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan, November 11. Kyrgyzstan produced 20 million cubic meters of natural gas in the period from January through August 2024, which is 3.1 percent less than in the same period of 2023, Trend reports via the CIS Interstate Statistical Committee.
In addition, the country produced 200,000 tons of oil and gas condensate from January through August 2024, which is 0.4 percent less than in the same period last year.
Moreover, Kyrgyzstan extracted 2 million tons of hard and brown coal during the specified period, an increase of 1.8 percent over the same period in 2023.
Note that the volume of industrial products produced in the country from January through August 2024 amounted to more than 330 billion SOM (approximately $3.19 billion), an increase of 0.7 percent compared to the same period in 2023.
