BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 30. Turkmenistan significantly increased the import of aviation fuel from Türkiye in May 2022, Trend reports via Türkiye's Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EPDK).
Turkmenistan increased the import of aviation fuel from Türkiye in May this year by almost 10 times compared to the same month in 2021 (2.1 tons) - up to 20.8 tons.
According to EPDK, Türkiye exported more than 122.6 tons of aviation fuel to Turkmenistan from January through May 2022, which is 6 times more than in the same period last year (18.7 tons).
Turkmenistan's imports of Turkish aviation fuel in May 2022 decreased by 63.5 percent compared to April (57.1 tons).
