TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, August 14. The Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan and Kuwait have signed a memorandum of understanding, Trend reports.
As Uzbek FM Bakhtiyor Saidov pointed out, this document aims to enhance cooperation between the two diplomatic offices.
"My colleague, Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdullah Ali Al-Yahya, and I had in-depth discussions on all the issues on our bilateral agenda. There’s no doubt that the partnership between Uzbekistan and Kuwait has significant untapped potential," Minister Saidov wrote on his social media page.
He added that cooperation priorities between the two countries include fostering economic ties, improving regional connectivity, encouraging regular exchanges, establishing a strong legal framework, strengthening public diplomacy, and building human resource capacity.
