Azerbaijan's aim is to pursue a secure energy future, says a US lawmaker.
"It is utilizing Western companies, free markets, and private capital to conduct Caspian Sea-based energy exploration and distribution," said US Congressman Jim Bridenstine, R-OK., who is to host a Town Hall on Global Energy Security with Azerbaijani ambassador, on April 13.
Azerbaijan is evidence that the private sector has the capacity to provide energy security for our allies and friends, the congressman said, to Fox News affiliate in Tulsa, OK.
Recall that Azerbaijani Ambassador to the United States Elin Suleymanov and Congressman Bridenstine will highlight the link of energy security to global political stability at the April 13 meeting.
