The session opened at the "Olympus" school, the meeting was attended by the head of the department of general education and national training plans of Ministry of Education of Georgia Natia Dzhokhadze, the Ministry reported on Saturday.
Theme of the session - "Youth - part of civil society." In the simulation, the European Parliament is involved about 80 students of classes X-XII of the 11th school. The General Assembly will be held April 30 in the first building of Tbilisi State University.
During the event, students will be divided between the committees and then discuss a number of topical issues, will work out the resolution in the English language.
The committees will discuss the problems of the EU, as well as relations between the EU and Georgia. At the closing ceremony of the Assembly, all participants will receive certificates.
The European Youth Parliament, as a school project was formed in 1987 in France. Later, students interested in the project. Georgia has received an official member of the organization in 2008.
