The "Ali bey Huseynzade Turan" book was presented today. Its authors are Azerbaijani MPs Ganira Pashayeva and Azer Turan.
"The idea to publish the book arose after meeting with Ali bey Huseynzade Turan's only heiress - his daughter Feyzavar Alpsar. She advised Azer Turan to write the book," Pashayeva said at the presentation ceremony.
Alpsar's memorials were taken down for the book. A documentary film will also be released shortly.
The book will be presented in Turkey Nov. 13-14. Alpsar will attend the ceremony.
"Feyzavar khanum said she is ready to present part of Huseynzade's works," the MP said "We believe that we will be able to organize an exhibition of his works. We must not forget that Huseynzade is the author of the flag, which reflects Turkic ideas, Islam and progress."
Pashayeva said Huseynzade played an invaluable role in the national thought, culture and education of the Azerbaijani people.
Huseynzade was a founder of free press in Azerbaijan. His publication "Fuyzat" played a major role in developing media, the MP said.
Turan received a versatile education in Russia and Turkey.
