Baku's museums will extend their working hours during the Eurovision-2012 song contest in Baku, Azerbaijani Culture and Tourism Minister Abulfas Garayev told media today.
"The museums will work until midnight during the contest," he said. "Therefore, the guests will be able to visit museums at night."
"Special buses will operate for the guests," he added. "The excursion groups will be organised at the front of our large hotels. The preparatory work has been done. The programmes have been prepared. If anyone wants to go sightseeing in Azerbaijan during the contest, or after it, they will get the necessary assistance."
The 57th Eurovision Song Contest will be held in Baku Crystal Hall which is under construction near the State Flag Square.
The Eurovision 2012 semi-final rounds will be held in Baku on May 22 and May 24 and the final on May 26.
The logo for the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest is 'Fire Flower', while the motto is Light your fire.
Azerbaijan won the right to host the prestigious European song contest after the victory of Eldar Gasimov and Nigar Jamal (Ell / Nikki) at Eurovision 2011 in Dusseldorf, Germany last May.
