BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 4. The Government of Azerbaijan forecasts the growth in the volume of benefits on taxes and customs payments in the budget in 2023, Trend reports on November 4 via the materials of the Ministry of Finance on the draft law "On the state budget for 2023".

According to the ministry, the volume of benefits on taxes and customs payments (exempt from payments to the state budget) is projected to make up 7.8 billion manat ($4.6 billion) next year, which is 545.5 million manat ($320.8 million) or 7.5 percent more than the forecast level for 2022.

The largest amount of benefits in 2023 will fall on VAT on the countrywide operations - 2.9 billion manat ($1.7 billion), followed by income tax - 1.9 billion manat ($1.12 billion), VAT on import customs operations - 783.8 million manat ($461 million), profit tax - 598.5 million manat ($352 million), customs import duties - 818.3 million manat ($481.3 million), property tax - 293 million manat ($172.3 million), and the rest - for other taxes.
