ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, May 1. Turkmenistan imported about 280 tons of aviation fuel from Türkiye from January through February this year, Trend reports.
According to Türkiye's Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EPDK), during this period, Turkmenistan's imports of aviation fuel from Türkiye became almost five times less than the volume of imports for the same period in 2023, which amounted to 1,375 tons.
Furthermore, Turkmenistan imported 147 tons of aviation fuel from Türkiye in January, and 133 tons in February.
For the whole of 2023, Turkmenistan purchased about 3,560 tons of aviation fuel from Türkiye, which is 10.2 times more than the volume of aviation fuel imports in 2022, which amounted to 346.2 tons.
Meanwhile, the burgeoning economic relationship between Turkmenistan and Türkiye stands as a dynamic and strategically significant development, emblematic of their robust trade connections.
Both nations are actively broadening their trade horizons, enhancing collaboration, and delving into fresh avenues for mutually advantageous ventures.
