"The interest in transferring to the licensed software in Azerbaijan was fixed both in public and private sectors. The data of this sphere will be reflected in the next report of IDC.

Nevertheless, I can say that even in the countries such as South Korea and Greece, there was fixed a growth in pirate product market. This indicator has a tend to decrease in Azerbaijan. I would even say that this indicator decreased to 86 per cent," he said.

The information about getting a license in Azerbaijan automatically fixed in the data base of BSA. According to Ramazanov, in turn, this reflects the increase of incomes to the state budget. Operating systems and Microsoft office programs constitute the largest part among the purchased products by the Azerbaijani customers.

Currently, over 50 percent of structural units of the Azerbaijani State Oil Company (SOCAR) have already been transferred to the licensed software and the work in this direction is carried out in accordance to the determined schedule.
