BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 31. The Hosho School of Theater, specializing in the 700-year history of Japanese Noh theater, will present the "Noh Opera" performance at the Heydar Aliyev Center, Trend reports.

Formed through the mutual influence of cultures along the Silk Road, "Noh" is popular as a unique form of art and is performed worldwide.

This theater is currently considered the only form of art connected to traditional and ancient cultures globally, and it has been inscribed on UNESCO's list of intangible cultural heritage.

The art of "Noh" inspires people towards spiritual comfort, a healthy, and happy way of life.

In the "Noh Opera", dance will be performed accompanied by various musical instruments, and the mystery of true happiness will be revealed through prayers to the goddess of happiness.

The play will also explore the making of the katana, known as the "divine sword". Based on traditional fairy tales, the flame symbolizes the friendship between Japan and Azerbaijan in the performance.
