Iran produced 232,000 tons of net aluminum ingots during the first 7 months of the current Iranian year (from March 20 through October 21, 2020), Trend reports citing Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade of Iran.
According to the statistics, the production increased by 53 percent compared to the same period last Iranian year. Thus, Iran produced 151,000 tons of net aluminum ingots in the same period last Iranian year.
"While in the 7th month of the current Iranian year (September 22 through October 21, 2020), Iran produced 36,000 tons of net aluminum ingots," the statistics said.
This is an increase of 2.3 percent compared to the 6th month of the current Iranian year (August 22 through September 21, 2020). So, 35,100 tons of net aluminum ingots were produced in Iran in 6th month.
"Furthermore, 139,000 tons of alumina were produced in Iran in the first seven months of the current Iranian year. Alumina production increased by 4.3 percent compared to the same period last Iranian year. While in the same period last year, Iran produced 133,000 tons of alumina," the statistics said.
According to the statistics, Iran produced 17,600 tons of alumina in 7th month. This is a decrease of 7.8 percent compared to 6th month. So, 19,100 tons of aluminum were produced in Iran in the sixth month.
