Global Gas Group LLP of Kazakhstan plans to build a factory for liquefying natural gas and producing cryogenic equipment in Kostanay region of the country, the governor's office of the region said in a message.
The cost of the project is 20 billion tenges (349,76/$1), the message says.
"The capacity of the factory is 40 million cubic meters of gas per year. The project provides for the creation of 450 new jobs," the message says.
Currently, the design and estimate documentation for the construction is being developed. The period of construction of the factory has not been specified.
Global Gas Group is a group of companies specializing in the field of liquefied natural gas (LNG). The company has been operating in the market of Kazakhstan since 2015.
The main activities of the Global Gas Group include the construction of gas infrastructure for the effective use of the potential of the LNG technology (pipeline grids, distribution stations); LNG production; land transportation and logistics of gas (transportation by road and railway, storage); production of natural gas from LNG (regasification), etc.
