Kazakhstan decreases petroleum gas exports to Hungary year-on-year

Kazakhstan has exported 502,800 kg of petroleum gas and other gaseous hydrocarbons worth to Hungary to 183,388 euros in August 2020, Eurostat representative told Trend.

In turn, overall petroleum gas and other gaseous hydrocarbons export from Kazakhstan to Hungary amounted to 19.7 million kg worth 7.5 million euros over the period from Jan. through Aug.

Thus, compared to July 2020 the export volume decreased by 62.1 percent (1.3 million kg), whereas compared to Jan. 2020 the volume increased by 68.4 percent (1.8 million kg).

The value of petroleum gas and other gaseous hydrocarbons export from Kazakhstan to Hungary was 62.7 percent less than in July 2020 (492,050 euros), and 80.7 percent less than in Jan. 2020 (952,798 euros).

The value of trade turnover between Kazakhstan and Hungary amounted to $84.8 million over the first nine months of 2020, compared to $75.6 million during the same period of 2019.

Kazakhstan’s export to Hungary amounted to $8.1 million over the period from January through Sept. 2020, compared to $8.5 million during the same period of 2019.

In turn, Kazakhstan’s imports from Hungary amounted to nearly $76.7 million over the reporting period, compared to $67.1 million during the same period of 2019.
