The Baku Telephone Communication LLC has finished optimization of infrastructure of cable and sewage facilities in Baku, a source in Azerbaijan’s telecommunications market told Trend Jan. 18.
The optimization involved linking or decommissioning of cable lines laid in the cable and sewage facilities of Baku. Only out-of-service equipment and cables that may cause accidents were decommissioned.
According to the source, it took the telecommunication operator only a few months to carry out inventory counting of cable and sewage facilities of Baku.
“After the inventory counting, the operator was informed in detail about where the cables were laid to and which structures they are operated by,” the source said.
