Kazakhstan and Russia will sign a Treaty on good-neighbourliness and alliance in the 21st Century in the framework of the 10th Interregional Cooperation Forum in Yekaterinburg in November, Kazinform reported with the reference to Kazakh Foreign Minister Erlan Idrissov.
"The document is 95 per cent ready," Idrissov said during talks with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov in Astana on Thursday.
Idrissov said that two aspects were discussed within the talks and these should be promptly implemented.
"Therefore we order our colleagues to agree on the text of the document within the week and then submit it for interdepartmental examination," Idrisov said.
