Georgia, Tbilisi, June 8 / Trend N. Kirtzkhalia /

A silent rally demanding the withdrawal of Georgian troops from Afghanistan will be held in Tbilisi at 3:00 pm today.

The rally is being prepared in social networks.

"The rally will be silent," the organizers said. "There will be no propaganda, no politics. "Our goal is to protect the lives of our servicemen, rather than to discuss the relations with NATO and Russia."

Over 6,000 Internet users express the willingness to join the rally.

Around seven Georgian servicemen were killed and nine were wounded as a result of the terrorist attacks on the Georgian military base in Afghanistan's Helmand province on June 6. The life of the injured is out of danger.
