The Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies of Azerbaijan together with the 'ASAN Service' is preparing a draft law 'On the state information systems and resources', Head of the Department of the Information Society Development of the Ministry Isbandiyar Aliyev told Trend on Friday.
According to Aliyev, the bill will reflect the creation and management of information systems, their use regulations, technical aspects, information security, and so on.
"Works on the new bill will be completed by June, after which the procedures of its review and approval will begin. The document is intended to provide support for building 'electronic government' and expanding the scope of its activities, as well as solving a number of existing problems in this area," Aliyev said.
The preparation of this legal document is included in the action plan of the Ministry for the current year due to the announcement of 2013 the ICT Year in Azerbaijan.
