Junior sergeant, who killed his fellows at the Seyfali polygon, was sentenced to life imprisonment.
Today the Azerbaijani Heinous Crimes Court sentenced Junior Sergeant Orkhan Safarov who killed his fellows to life imprisonment, the court told Trend .
May 23, Junior Sergeant of the Azerbaijani Army Orkhan Safarov killed his fellows, Taleh Hidayatov, Mustafa Seyfulov and Nariman Asgarkhanov and wounded Ravil Atashov and Shahriyar Hasanov with his service weapon during the military trainings in the Seyfali polygon in the Shamkir region.
In the preliminary interrogation, Safarov said he could not bear up insults and violence by persons he shot. Safarov could not bear out the humiliations and committed the shooting.
Safarov was accused under the Article 120.2. 7(murder of two and more persons) and 29, 120.2.7 (an attempt to kill two and more persons) of the Azerbaijan Criminal Code.
Safarov was enlisted into the military by the Military Commissariat of the Agjabadi region in January, 2008.
