The head of Iran Market Regulation Headquarters Abbas Ghobadi said that 120,000 tons of raw material crude oil have been imported into the country last week, while efforts are being made to solve the problem of solid oil, Trend reports via IRNA.
"There is no problem in supplying raw materials to oil factories but there are still problems with solid oil, which will be solved as soon as possible,” Ghobadi said.
According to IRNA, it was previously announced that 400,000 tons of crude oilseed is in Government Trading Corporation of Iran`s inventory and the private sector has a favorable inventory of this product.
Consumption of the country's crude oilseed is 100,000 tons per month.
The government determines to allocate $1.5 billion to the import of 1.9 million tons of crude oilseed in the next Iranian year`s budget bill (starts on March 21, 2021).
