The expert stressed that Azerbaijan has great potential for the development of economic, social processes in a digital format.

"Our country is one of the first countries in the world, which, amid the pandemic, has introduced online platforms for tracking and servicing its citizens through public services," the expert said.

The Azerbaijani Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies said that Azerbaijani Minister of Transport, Communications and High Technologies Ramin Guluzade met with UK Ambassador to Azerbaijan James Sharp on December 1.

"Azerbaijan is the initiator and main participant of many international projects," the ministry said.

"As of today, there are only concepts and ideas that Microsoft plans to present in early 2021," Mirzayev added.

Mirzayev said that the Microsoft Azerbaijan team is always ready to share international experience and knowledge in the implementation of ICT projects in Azerbaijan.

"The device has been adapted for accepting payments through cards and fiscalizing transactions," Zubryakov said. "The device has been equipped with a built-in receipt printer, barcode photo scanner, contactless card reader and all the necessary communication modules for transferring data to the internet via WiFi and by using a SIM card."

The number of requests related to computer security in Azerbaijan decreased by almost 26.7 percent and reached 414 in November 2020 compared to the previous month. The number of "pests" blocked in the AzStateNet network was 4,233, which is by almost 6.8 percent less compared to the previous month and a decrease in the number of phishing attacks in the Azerbaijani AzNET segment was also stressed, the report of the Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT) under the Special Communication and Information Security State Agency of the Azerbaijani Special State Protection Service said.

The Azerbaijani Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population announced on December 3, 2020 about an innovative step in the field of rehabilitation of disabled people.

The ministry stressed that the first two samples of prostheses made in the workshop for the production of high-tech prostheses were presented at the center of prosthetic and orthopedic production and rehabilitation of the ministry.

Over 11 months of this year, 10,424 people with disabilities were provided with about 26,700 rehabilitation devices, including about 900 wheelchairs, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population said.
