Tehran, Iran, December 16

The implementation of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) will take years and that's why people should not expect to feel the change instantly, Iranian government spokesman Mohammad Baqer Nobakht said.
Referring to the closure of the Possible Military Dimensions (PMD) to Iran's nuclear program, the official said once the JCPOA starts being implemented, the government will have a more open hand in pursuing its economic programs, Fars news agency reported December 16.
On December 15, the Board of Governors of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) approved a resolution draft that ended a decade-long insistence by Western powers that Iran had been seeking nuclear weapons.
The resolution was necessary before Iran and the group 5+1 (the US, UK, France, Russia, China, and Germany) could implement a comprehensive deal that is to lift sanctions on Iran's economy.
