A blizzard may be expected in the second half of the day, the Azerbaijani Environment and Natural Resources Ministry's Hydro-Meteorological Forecasts Department told Trend today. In the evening, temperatures may fall.
The wind speed in Baku will reach 15-20 m / sec Feb. 5-7 and 23-25 m / sec on the Absheron Peninsula. In some places, it may hit 28-33 m / sec.
The weather is expected to worsen the next three day in the Azerbaijani regions. Snow will continue to fall in the regions. The temperature will be 2-5 degrees below zero at night, and from 2 degrees of frost to 2 degrees Celsius.
