Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Azerbaijan jointly with the State Support for Media Development Fund under the President of Azerbaijan and the Press Council of Azerbaijan has announced a competition among journalists, the press service of the Fund told Trend.
The themes of the competition conducted under the project "Support to media coverage of environmental topics in the media" are: "2010 - Year of Ecology: Environmental policy of the State", "Effective use of natural resources", "The use of alternative and renewable energy sources, global environmental problems and assessment of needs at the national level", "Ensuring environmental safety: current situation and future tasks".
The competition is open to individuals, constantly working in the media during the year prior to the announcement of the competition.
Winners will be awarded with special diplomas of the organizers, as well as cash prizes: first place - 500 manat, second place - 300 manat, third place - 200 manat.
