Georgia, Tbilisi, Dec.17, Trend N. Kirtskhalia /

An extraordinary congress of the "Movement for Fair Georgia" will be held on Dec.23 in Tbilisi. It will be convened at the initiative of the heads of several regional organizations of the party of Georgian former Prime Minister Zurab Noghaideli.

As the head of the civil organization of the movement Shmagi Gabakhadze said, the main issue at the congress will be Zurab Noghaideli's exclusion from the party. "Noghaideli deceived his own people - he doesn't deserve to be our leader," Gabakhadze indicated.

According to him, the time and place of the congress will be clarified in the coming days. Gabakhadze also noted that former followers of Noghaideli intend to collect signatures and file a lawsuit against their leader.

They accuse Noghaideli for not paying for their work in the party, and that he withheld their promised salary.
