BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 7. President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has signed an Order on the establishment of the Forensic Examination Council, acting on a consultative basis.
The Order aims to improve the public management and regulation in forensics, ensure the compliance of activity of the forensic expertise with the international standards, develop common standards and promote their implementation, as well as enhance human resource capacity in the relevant field.
Under the presidential Order, the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Azerbaijan was appointed as the Chair, while the Deputy Ministers of Internal Affairs, Defense, Health, Deputy Chairs of State Security Service, Supreme Court, Prosecutor General and Presidium of Bar Association were appointed as members of the council.
