This decision was made on 25 May, during the meeting of the panel of judges of the Supreme Court on Economic Affairs held under the chairmanship of Judge Iman Nagiyev. This decision was made without hearing the appeal from the Azadlyg newspaper, the Popular Front Party of Azerbaijan and the Turan Information Agency
Intigam Aliyev, the media representative, stated during the hearing that the reason for the postponement of the previous hearing was because permission had not been obtained for the lawyers of the plaintiffs to attend the hearing by the Court. The Supreme Court and the Panel Judges of Azerbaijan did not provide permission to the attorneys to attend the hearing despite the plaintiffs' request. Aliyev noted that the appeal would be submitted to the Europe Court.
The plaintiffs demand the annulment of the decree passed by the Appeal Court on Economic Affairs to remove them from their building based in 33 Khagani street and the decision of the Appeal Court on Economic Work passed on 2 February to decline their original appeal against the State Committee on State Property Management of Azerbaijan.
