The delegation of the Khorezm region of Uzbekistan led by the Head of the Regional Administration Farkhod Ermanov visited Dashoguz city - the regional center of Dashoguz region of Turkmenistan, the "Neutral Turkmenistan" newspaper wrote.
The visit took place within the framework of implementation of the agreement between the administrations of Dashoguz region of Turkmenistan and Khorezm region of Uzbekistan on cooperation in trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres, signed in March 2017 during the state visit of President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Ashgabat.
The joint Uzbek-Chinese limited liability company (LLC) "UzXCMG" company engaged in the production of crawler and wheeled excavators, graders, wheel loaders and other heavy equipment, "Mini battery" LLC Company Ltd. producing battery monoblocks and polypropylene pipes, "Akman" private enterprise known by its paint and varnish products, "Tillo domor" private enterprise specializing in the production of dairy products were among the members of the Uzbek delegation.
Dashoguz region, along with various state-owned enterprises, was represented by private companies operating in the agro-industrial sector, specializing in the production of building materials, food products and other goods which are highly demanded in the consumer market. The "Khilal", "Peynirchi", "Dovur" enterprises and "Ovadan ulus" economic society and others are among such private companies.
Dashoguz region and Khorezm region have a developed agricultural sector, in which the main place is occupied by cotton-growing, grain-growing and livestock industries, the high-tech industrial enterprises engaged in the processing of local raw materials are functioning.
A joint private enterprise has already been established in the Khorezm region, the message says.
