The first stage of Aktobe’s polymer plant construction was finished in Kazakhstan, Trend reports citing Kazakh media.

Within this stage, a workshop on manufacturing of soft containers for the transportation of bulk materials was commissioned as part of the plant infrastructure in Aktobe industrial zone.

Currently, 30 people are employed here. The raw materials are purchased from Chelyabinsk Oblast and Yaroslavl city of Russia.

“Presently, the manufacturing capacity of the plant equals to 40 percent of the total capacity. After the project completion, its annual production will reach one million of containers per year,” the report said.

“The construction of the plant consists of four stages. The second stage covers the expansion of the manufacturing workshop. The third includes construction of the workshops on polypropylene extrusion and the creation of in-house raw material base," the statement said.

“Furthermore, at the final stage of the construction, equipment for the polypropylene extrusion will be purchased. At this stage, the plan is expected to wok at its full production capacity,” reads the message.
