Azerbaijan’s biggest industrial enterprise - Ganja Aluminum Plant plans to increase the production volumes this year, as well as to begin modernization of cold and hot rolling machines for the production of aluminum products, the source told Trend.
“The plant is aimed at ensuring sustainable production process in accordance with modern quality standards,” the source said.
"Since the beginning of this year, the plant has produced 8.9 million tons of primary aluminum,” the source said. “At the same time, this indicator amounted to 50.1 million tons of primary aluminum in 2019. This year the plant plans to increase the production volume by 15-20 percent."
Presently, the plant is operating at full capacity, all the workshops of the plant are used.
The plant produces primary and final aluminum products, as well as semi-finished products in the form of aluminum sheets.
