At the same time, WB is preparing a strategy for the improvement of the water infrastructure to establish the total volume of funds to be spent to the water supply and collecting systems, as well as reconstruction of cleaning facilities, and other measures in this field. On the whole, the WB project is expected to cover 20 towns.

The Bank is about to grant some $400-500 mln. for these needs. The preliminary estimation of the project was conducted in November, during the visit of the WB mission, headed by Andreas Rode, the Chief of WB Group Projects.

A feasibility study has already been launched on the nine selected areas. Later, ten more areas are expected to be involved in the implementation of the project.
