Deputy Chairman of Kazakh National Welfare Fund Appointed

Kazakhstan, Astana. 17 October / corr Trend K.Konirova / Timur Kulibayev was appointed the deputy chairman of Board of Directors of national welfare fund Samruk-Kazina on 17 October,  KazEnergy association reported.

This decision was adopted in the first meeting of board of directors of the state fund. The board of directors of the fund presided by Karim Masimov, Kazakh prime minister, confirmed Kulibayev's candidacy.

Timur Kulibaev graduated the Moscow state university named after M.V.Lomonosov. He has an academic degree of candidate PhD in economy. He worked in the state-run oil and gas state establishments of Kazakhstan. Since April 2006 to August 2007 he was deputy chairman of board of directors of Kazakhstan holding on management of the state assets of Samruk OJC.

He was rewarded with order of Friendship Kurmet, (Russian Federation, 2007).

Union of juridical entities 'Kazakhstan association of oil and gas enterprises and energy complex KazEnergy was established in November 2005 to develop the dialogue of companies of oil and gas and energy sector with state organizations and public, to improve efficiency of social initiatives and is intended to be the catalyst in organization of new level of efficiency of fuel and energy sector of Kazakhstan.
