ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, September 15. Turkmenistan is building settlements in Kerki, Halach, Sayat and Charjew districts of the Lebap region, Trend reports.
Within the framework of the rural national program in the Lebap region – the eastern region of the country – a number of social facilities have been built and commissioned, such as 10 hospitals, 40 sanatoriums, 17 cultural centers, 30 sports schools and 15 sports facilities.
The completed buildings are only part of larger projects planned for the region.
Furthermore, within the framework of the National Program for the transformation of the social and living conditions of the population of villages, towns, cities for the period up to 2028, the construction of 18 secondary schools, 3 cultural centers, 6 orphanages, 3 hospitals, 5 diagnostic and treatment centers is planned in the Lebap region.
At the same time, 305 kilometers of water supply, 78 kilometers of sewerage, 769 kilometers of highways, 347 kilometers of gas pipeline, 470.5 kilometers of electrical lines, 438 kilometers of telephone lines and 11,200 telephone points will also be built in the region.
Meanwhile, Turkmenistan is actively investing in the construction and modernization of infrastructure, which includes road networks, airports, ports, railways and energy facilities. Projects of this scale contribute to increasing mobility and improving the quality of life of citizens.
