Per gold coin was traded at 12,437,000 rials (about $319.4 according to the currency rate in free market) on Sunday.
According to data on the website of the Tehran Gold and Jewelry Union, a gram of the 18-karat gold priced at 1,210,000 rials (about $31).
According to the country’s real-time data sharing system, SANA, per euro priced 46,485 rials in the free market dropping 122 rials compared to the preceding day. The Central Bank of Iran put the official rate of euro at 40,156 rials.
The US dollar in the free market lost 38 rials to stand at 38,937 rials. The CBI put the official rate for the greenback at 33,605 rials.
