The Kurd problem should be resolved by democratic and brotherhood principles Turkish Prime-Minister Rejeb Tayyib Erdogan said at a meeting of the ruling Justice and Development party (AKP). Turkish CNN Turk TV channel reported.
"AKP will no matter solve the Kurd problem of the country. We will solve all problems on the basis of national principals." Erdogan added.
Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan met with leader of the pro-Kurdish Democratic Society Party (DTP), Ahmet Turk. Erdogan considered the meeting as positive saying that the Kurds problem will be solved soon. Turk considered the meeting as start of dialogue between the parties. Leader of the Turkish main opposition, Republican People's Party (CHP), Deniz Baykal considered this meeting as authorities' discussions with supporters of terrorism in the country. Baykal demands the authorities to express its opinion towards Kurds openly.
The Kurd problem is a national issue in Turkey and one should not politicize it, Erdogan said.
The Turkish national unity should not be a political tool, Erdogan said.
