Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili and German Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle have discussed a wide range of Georgian-German relations in Tbilisi on Thursday. The Georgian Presidential Administration said the meeting with the German diplomat who arrived
in Georgia as part of his South Caucasus tour was held at the Presidential Palace in Tbilisi.
During the meetings Westerwelle appreciated social, economic, political and institutional reforms held in Georgia.
Saakashvili and Westerwelle also highlighted the cooperation between Georgia and Germany in a multilateral format.
Saakashvili briefed the minister on the situation in the occupied territories.
The German FM is accompanied by German businessmen.
