A mass death of poultry occurred in Ganja city, Azerbaijan. Trend Special Correspondent reports that a mass death of poultry occurred in the Yeni Ganja area over the past few days.
Huseyn Abbasov, head of the State Veterinary Service, stated that this was a very serious problem. Basically, people did not inform the Veterinary Department about the health of their poultry. The Department frequently carries out the vaccination of the poultry, which helps to prevent certain diseases. Without the necessary vaccinations the poultry become diseased with Newcastle and Calbacteriosis which ends in the poultry dying, Abbasov stressed.
The Veterinary Department is currently disinfecting the area where the poultry have died.
