BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan, May 10. Kyrgyzstan’s trade turnover with Russia amounted to $335.110 million from January through February 2024, declining by 9 percent compared to $368.136 million in the same period of 2023, Trend reports.

According to the State Statistical Committee of Kyrgyzstan, the exports reached $53.894 million, down by 37.5 percent over the January–February 2023 figures ($86.254 million).

Imports totaled $281.216 million, which is 0.2 percent less than in the corresponding months of 2023 ($281.882 million).

In the structure of Kyrgyzstan's total trade turnover, Russia accounted for 14.9 percent: exports from Russia for 17.5 percent, and imports for 14.4 percent.

Kyrgyzstan's foreign trade turnover totaled $2.255 billion in the first two months of 2024, which is 28.3 percent more than in the same period in 2023 ($1.758 billion). Exports reached $307.5 million, increasing by 18.4 percent compared to January–February 2023 ($259.726 million). Imports amounted to $1.947 billion, up 30 percent from $1.498 billion in the corresponding months of 2023.
